To beginning of the year the circle sport federation of the Rheinisch Bergi circle invited selected regional sport associations, sport federations and a hospital active in the health sport into the premises of the Rheini Turnerbundes, in order to discuss the idea of a connecting network “sport and movement” and “health”.
Already in June the second meeting took place about “health-oriented sport and movement offers in the Rheinisch Bergi circle”. One put thereby the foundation-stone for a future-oriented, qualitative and lasting co-operation and created a forum as exchange and organization platform for sport and health.
A goal of this forum should be a future improved co-operation of the sport associations, the federations and other participant institutions including the local-political level.
